​On April 14th I woke up from a dream about making collaborative zines with other adult people about the faith/religion they were raised in. I thought "why not just ask some friends and artists I like who I know for certain were raised this way and see if they are interested, if it doesn't work out, no worries because this isn't the type of thing I usually do or care about" I asked  about a dozen people and 8 of them followed through with something that made its way into the final product. It took about 4 months to organize and produce Volume 1 and I really like the way it turned out.

37 page zine featuring original art, photography, and essays from 8 different artists all centered around the faiths they grew up in. Featuring Michael Patterson, Dorian Wood, Elle Murtagh, Nicholas B. Jacobsen, Ryan Avery, Tyler Jacobs, Wayne Michael Reich and Jonathan Lees.

​First Pressing of 100, official release date is August 28th, but I am going to start mailing these out next week
There will be a release party/event on Sunday, August 28th at Wasted Ink Distro in Phoenix, AZ but more info on that will come in another email.

On July 22nd, I got a call from my friend Max, he told me "Jeremy was taken by ambulance to the hospital for what they think was a heart attack on Tuesday Morning. He went into a comatose state and was without oxygen for 15 to 20 minutes. They induced hypothermia to stop any brain damage from happening." and then proceeded to get updates on him every other day, some good and some bad, but it looks like he is recovering well now and his brothers+girlfriend Kate started a GoFundMe to help with medical bills and recovery.

If you are unfamiliar with Jeremy (known to some as Jerry) He is a wonderful, soft spoken and brilliant artist known for his music under the name Yairms and his films, most recently a western that he filmed in the AZ desert tiled "La Bufa Dora" which was scheduled to premiere in New York this month but that has been delayed for obvious reasons. Anyway, If you are able to donate, share and/or spread the word on this GoFundMe that would be so helpful and would mean so much to me and everyone who cares about him.

All sales from YAIRMS "Hope's Stable" cassette tape will go towards the GoFundMe until the goal is met as well.
