ARIZONA IS REALLY HOT RIGHT NOW!Yesterday was the first official day of summer, but in Phoenix, AZ it has been in the triple digits for over a month already! Every year the summers here get more and more deadly for the people that live here. If you would like to help, please consider donating to Rachelle Marks summer fundraiser for unsheltered relatives. "It takes collective effort from community to care for our unsheltered neighbors. So let's come together to ensure they have water jugs willed with water & ice during these heatwaves & throughout the summer." All money given will go towards, water jugs, gallons of water, bags of ice, electrolyte packets, coolers, fruit, various snacks, cooling towels, sunscreen and hygiene products - which is then distributed by Rachelle and friends/volunteers. Usually in the summer time I am asking people to help the group @unshelteredphx - but they have been collaborating and helping Rachelle lately so that's why I am doing that now.
